Happy Christmas Eve Day everyone!

Sadly, I have nothing to offer you all. No nicely wrapped presents, no songs of merriment, hell not even a new post. (I rewatched “Goop on the Girl” last week, and something struck me as an excellent scene study topic… but then I forgot to write it down and now I can’t remember what it was. Such is life.)

However, what I can offer you is a trip down memory lane via old posts I happen to have archived here. Shameless self-promotion, or complete laziness on my part, you decide.

Anyway, I know this is lame, but hopefully the new year brings new inspiration for writing! In the meantime, may you all be as merry as Stoned!Booth on antiviral medication.

Thank you so much for indulging me, and for your kind words and insightful comments over the last little while here on my no-longer-abandonned blog. (Keep ’em coming! It makes me feel a little less like a crazy person.) Can’t wait to talk to you soon!

  1. If you’re crazy, I need to go to Bones Anonymous. The problem is that I don’t have the motivation to change. I’m a functioning Bones addict. You are a lot more observant than I am and more perceptive about literary parallels and stuff like that, but I share a lot of your sensibilities (not all, but all would be strange). I really appreciate someone who also finds Show fascinating with posts to which I relate. Hope to read much more of your blogging. Happy Holidays! Brennan haters bug me too, even though I don’t think Brennan would think much of me if she met me in real life. (As an academic, she’d probably think I’d make a really good secretary).

    1. Ehh, I don’t know that I’m more observant. Probably just have had a lot more free time in the past than most people did, lol. It comes with the territory of marathoning six seasons of a show in three weeks — stuff I think is easier to pick out when it’s that fresh in your mind. (On the flip side: people are noticing recurring themes and such in this season, which I’m not getting at all, because I only watch it once a week, now.)

It’s always nice to hear from other people who enjoy the show too, especially about aspects other than just B&B. (Don’t get me wrong, I love them — but I’m kind of talked out in that respect.) It’s cool to share sensibilities — but yes, if we agreed on everything, we might become the same person, and that would indeed be strange.

Ha, Brennan would wipe the floor with me if she were real. She’d definitely have no time for me. And I’d probably want to punch her too. But on my TV? Totally my homegirl!

Thanks for reading, and for commenting! Hope you have a good break, as well!
